The PA Coalition of Charter Schools is pleased to announce the 2009 annual conference. This three-day conference will take place from Sunday, April 26 through Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The conference supports those working for, with, or on behalf of charter schools across Pennsylvania.
More than 1,000 attendees are expected to attend the conference. These participants include a variety of educators from throughout the state. Those in attendance include CEO's, board members, or teachers who work for, or are affiliated with charter schools in PA. This is your opportunity to meet with decision-makers who are eager to explore new ideas and better ways of achieving quality results for children. Also, many policy makers, charter school planning grant group members and members of the general public interested in charter school development can be expected to attend.
The state of Pennsylvania ranks 7th in the nation for number of charter schools with 120 charters serving more than 60,000 students in attendance with 27,000 students on waiting lists. To serve this ever growing community, the PA Coalition of Charter Schools is proud to host the largest forum for the charter school community in the Northeast United States.
