Pennsylvania Coaliton Of Charter Schools Applauds Senate Confirmation Of Gerald Zahorchak For Secretary Of Education

West Chester, Pa., Feb 8, 2006... The Pennsylvania Coalition of Charter Schools (PCCS) is pleased that the Pennsylvania Senate has confirmed Dr. Gerald Zahorchak's as Pennsylvania Secretary of Education.
"Dr. Zahorchak's experiences as a school district superintendent and his service within the Department of Education have amply demonstrated his ability to provide effective leadership," said Larry Jones, President of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Charter Schools. "We are pleased that he has been confirmed to the top post at PDE."
