PCCS's Statement on Nomination of Gerald Zahorchak for Secretary of Education

The Pennsylvania Coalition of Charter Schools (PCCS) supports the nomination of Gerald Zahorchak for Pennsylvania Secretary of Education.
"Dr. Zahorchak's experiences as a school district superintendent and his service within the Department of Education have amply demonstrated his ability to provide effective leadership," said Lawrence F. Jones, Jr., President of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Charter Schools. "PCCS has worked productively and collaboratively with Dr. Zahorchak over the past several years. We are pleased that he has been nominated to assume the top post at PDE and we wholeheartedly support this nomination."
